Teresa Lawrence is a Cuban-born entrepreneur who came to the United States in 1973 under President Nixon’s “Freedom Flight.” It was this pursuit of freedom, mingled with sheer uncertainty, that inspired Teresa to dedicate her life to helping people find jobs, obtain financial stability and support their families. Under her ownership, Delta Personnel has gained national recognition in the staffing industry. Teresa currently serves on the following Board of Directors: WBEC South’s Board of Directors as Regional Director for New Orleans, Jefferson Economic Development Board, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Jefferson Parish Workforce Development Council. Teresa is very active in the development of the local New Orleans Economy. Committed to her community, Teresa actively works with New Orleans Catholic Charities and continues to promote opportunities to immigrants with legal work status in the United States so that all workers have the opportunity to join the workforce at a fair wage. “I want my staff to be reflective of my belief in diversity and inclusiveness.”

Kelvin Gipson is originally from St. Petersburg, FL and moved to New Orleans after living in Atlanta, GA for 18 years. While living in Atlanta, he owned several successful business ventures over the years. He also worked at IBM for over eight years in numerous management and leadership positions. Kelvin moved to New Orleans to work with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program at Delgado Community College. He was one of the first employees hired to help start the program in New Orleans. Prior to leaving the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program he was the Business Services Support Director and Alumni Manager. Kelvin was very instrumental in the overall success of the program and managed the Alumni phase where he spearheaded over 450 small business owners with graduating from the 10KSB Program. He has also been recognized on a national level by Goldman Sachs for his overall leadership and consulting work.
Nicole Vallotton, Senior Recruiter
Nicole offers more than 12-years of experience in staffing and recruiting. She first discovered her passion for recruiting in 2006 when she worked at a marine and industrial staffing firm. Since joining the Delta Team, Nicole has expanded into hospitality and has been instrumental in developing recruiting and training processes. She prides herself on working with the recruitment team to provide the best possible service to more than one hundred clients and 1,000 employees. Her belief in building a strong relationship with both the client and the employee is key to her success. Nicole truly enjoys being able to find the right person for the right job.
Angela has extensive experience in accounting and payroll services. She is responsible for providing over 1200 W2’s a year. She began her career as a Mortgage Loan Processor with Premier Mortgage Funding. After working with them for over three years, Angela decided to start her own mortgage processing business. Prior to coming to Delta Personnel, Angela was a stay-at-home mom for eight years. During this time, Angela gained valuable knowledge in the Health and Fitness arena. She is an avid health expert and strives on motivating others to a healthy lifestyle. Currently, she is working on her personal trainer certification.
Angela has three sons: Joshua, Jonathan and Dylan; one daughter Bailey; and two dogs, Beaux and Calli.
Teddy Young, Risk & Safety Manager
Teddy brings over 17 years of experience in workplace safety to his role as Risk/Safety Manager at Delta. He is skilled in various HSE fields, including workers’ compensation, emergency management, environmental awareness, and more. Teddy has personally case-managed incidents and will work closely with your team to keep workers’ compensation claims to a minimum, constantly striving to lower your Experience Modification Ratings (EMR).
Teddy is a strong safety leader with a proven track record of improving workplace culture and reducing incidents. He is a valuable member of the Delta team and looks forward to helping keep you and your employees safe.
